I am a cosmic light-beam
a rockstar
go ahead
land your kick
on the side of my face
cuz you know what they say
about pebbles.
Yep, I’m an avalanche
and I’ll bury you…
so deep in purpose
your excuses suffocate
and your soul will scramble
to the surface
for air.
Stop fighting me
trying to prove
your worth
by dissing mine.
There’s power in numbers
grab my hand instead
let’s squash your demons together.
Because you are a cosmic light beam
a rockstar
a Goddess
born to tell your story
set the world on fire
heal the wounds
fill the soul holes with illegal amounts of joy.
You are a magical she-beast
your thoughts are weapons that sharpen themselves
on your beliefs
wield them wisely,
in action toward your dreams.
What you think you already are.
What you appreciate you already have.
I used to think
I was stupid, unprofessional, inappropriate…
too much for the world.
And guess what?
I was stupid, unprofessional, inappropriate
too much for the world
to behold.
I am a savage for love
a warrior clad in gratitude
a guru of awareness
a wild word-medicine woman
a messenger for the Gods and Angels
and here’s what I know…
So are you.
Underneath the cold steel around your heart
below the crusty mud caking up your soul
behind all the boring, unhelpful lies
you continue to believe about yourself
is a force so powerful
the stars themselves might feel jealous
if you’d just realize you could shine that bright.
