I have the honor of sharing Stacey Magovern’s story and mission today by sharing the details of her business and recent press with you! Female world-changers peeps — they turn me on. Here’s a little bit about her and Point Blank Safety.
Q: Tell us about how Point Blank Safety was started?
A: “I started my for profit business in 2012. Point Blank Safety and I have had enormous success. It was that success that forced me to look at how I could give back or pay it forward. In 2017 I started Blue Family Fund, Inc a nonprofit that provides scholarships and financial assistance to families of law enforcement officers.”
Q: What’s been the biggest challenge?
A: “The biggest challenge has been building awareness for the nonprofit. People are cautious about donating to a charity they haven’t heard of.”
Q: I believe everyone can be a “healer.” Tell us how you’re healing the world with your mission.
A: “ When we donate to a family that has lost a loved one in the line of duty we are healing them maybe just a little by reminding them their law enforcement officer is not forgotten and we are all a Blue Family.”

[Burleson, Texas, June 19, 2019] — Burleson-based non-profit Blue Family Fund is excited to announce their partnership with WNBA team Dallas Wings. They will be named NonProfit of the night at the Wings’ June 30th game against the Minnesota Lynx. The game will be held beginning at 3pm at the College Park Center, 600 S Center St Arlington, Texas 76019.
“We are proud to have partnered with the Dallas Wings who have made us the Nonprofit of the night on June 30th,” says Stacey Magovern, Co-Founder of Blue Family Fund. “We will be presenting a Scholarship to the dependent of a Law Enforcement officer during the game. It will be a fun evening and a great game!”
Blue Family Fund is a 501c3 non-profit that provides scholarship opportunities and financial assistance to Law Enforcement families in need. 100% of donations made to the Fund are donated directly to the families of fallen police officers through scholarships or as aid.
