Mindful Practice Makes Magic; Day 7 of the Mastery Practice

It’s ALWAYS about now. Your love, your happiness, your joy, your relationships, your health, your business…your life.

Welcome to day 7/31! Read the introduction blog with all the details about this series HERE.

For each day of the month follow these steps:

1. Read the entire exercise quietly.
2. Now read it out loud to yourself.
3. Read the suggested affirmation out loud to yourself. (Or make up your own!)
4. Practice the exercise for that day, as often as you can

5. Journal about it that night or the next morning (but soon after you practice is best)

Day 7 Exercise: Just walk

Just walk today. Don’t talk on the phone. Don’t think too much. Just walk. Notice your feet in your shoes, the clothes on your body, the temperature, the light. Feel your walk. See if you can use walking to anchor you in the moment today. Notice how often when you’re walking, you’re doing something else. Just for today walk without multitasking. For your journaling practice today set a timer for 3 minutes and fill in the blank: When I walk without doing anything else, I notice ______.

Affirmation: Today I walk with purpose, without doing anything else, and just feel the way my body moves.
