For each day of the month follow these steps:
1. Read the entire exercise quietly.
2. Now read it out loud to yourself.
3. Read the suggested affirmation out loud to yourself. (Or make up your own!)
4. Practice the exercise for that day, as often as you can
5. Journal about it that night or the next morning (but soon after you practice is best)
Day 3 Exercise: Feel more
The quickest way into the moment is to use what you sense to anchor you. So, what do you feel? Use your journal today to describe how it feels in your body. Soften and release into that sensation and make a few notes about it. If words like “lonely” show up, contemplate how “lonely” feels in side you. Where is it, how big is it, what does it feel like?
Affirmation: Today I’m noticing what I feel, allowing the sensation in my body to be an anchor for the present moment. I soften and release into that sensation easily.
