Welcome to day 1/31! Read the introduction blog with all the details about this series HERE.
For each day of the month follow these steps:
1. Read the entire exercise quietly.
2. Now read it out loud to yourself.
3. Read the suggested affirmation out loud to yourself. (Or make up your own!)
4. Practice the exercise for that day, as often as you can
5. Journal about it that night or the next morning (but soon after you practice is best)
Day 2 Exercise: Stop thinking (Ha, I know, I know!)
Clear your mind more often today. Notice the chatter. Pick what needs to be attended to. Write that down. Then clear your mind. See how often you can come back to neutral. Or to the breath today.
When you do your journaling today, write about how it feels when the chatter seems overwhelming. What happens in side you?
Affirmation: Today I notice the chatter and simply clear my mind.
