Welcome to day 13/31! Read the introduction blog with all the details about this series HERE.
For each day of the month follow these steps:
1. Read the entire exercise quietly.
2. Now read it out loud to yourself.
3. Read the suggested affirmation out loud to yourself. (Or make up your own!)
4. Practice the exercise for that day, as often as you can
5. Journal about it that night or the next morning (but soon after you practice is best)
Day 13 Exercise: Notice what feels good
Knowing what feels good is an important mindfulness practice but we’re all so good at knowing when things feel bad, we barely practice this. What feels good to you? Today I’d like you to practice feeling those things. For journaling today, try this prompt: What do you love so much you lose track of time? Set a timer for five minutes and write without censoring yourself!
Affirmation: Today I give myself permission to move toward what feels good.
