How to Plan Your Life-Changing Moments: A 5-Step Checklist for Adventurers

I don’t leave mind blowing, life-changing moments and results to chance — I plan for them. Leaving that up to the Universe would be giving away my power and living in a state of perpetual wishing instead of living fiercely alive.

Sometimes the Universe throws us an unexpected moment that ends up changing our life. Those can be awesome, and they can be traumatic. In those instances I practice detaching from the outcome because I believe everything happens for us, not to us.

For me, all is well in the “trusting the Universe” department, and not judging reality as good or bad is the key for keeping my mindset on point. It’s part of the awareness practice that leads to manifestation. Not judging what happens as good or bad is a ninja move of mindset.

But as far as co-creating my life and planning for some of the life changes I crave, I make sure to plan that badassery, just like the next vacation, or girl’s night out.

Can you plan for life-changing moments?

Of course you can!

Assuming you’re after the kind of life-changing moments that have you basking in miracles and revelling in awe, like me, I want you to know that you can plan for those.

Here’s your 5-step how-to checklist:

  1. Know what you want and how you want to feel
  2. Meditate on the details daily
  3. Live the details in any particular way you can, now
  4. Take aligned action in small, medium, or large ways
  5. Do the thing

Note: Steps 3, 4, and 5 involve action outside of thoughts. The more the merrier. Steps 1 and 2 lay a foundation of thought action. Steps 3, 4, and 5 are what you do after you’ve set that powerful foundation in your mind.

Why is knowing how you want to feel important?

The things you want (or the things you think you want) make you feel a certain way. It’s the energy in that feeling we crave. We want to feel joy. We want rapture. We crave those higher vibrations. We think the new Mustang GT is going to give us that feeling (oh, it comes close) but it never…
